Hydrophobia: Prophecy Review

I love playing video games and lat Saturday I couldn’t wait to finish cleaning out my storage units so I could head on down to the Gaming store to get the new release Hydrophobia: Prophecy.

Released by Dark Energy Digital this games premise will sure provide player with all they can handle. The game’s setting is the 21 century after a devastating catastrophe of recklessly extravagant excess of the century before, which has left the world’s survivors living at bare subsistence level.

Not surprising a central feature of the game is water which is the main problem the world faces since there is not much of it anymore. This situation has brought about two opposing forces of the capitalists and the Neo-Malthusians or the environmentalists. Each force has its own view as to how to solve the water problem.

Kate Wilson is the role players will be playing and her main goal is to protect the capitalists and their floating city which is being constantly attached and has been damaged by the Neo-Malthusians. She move around with the assistance of a device that looks like today’s iPad which has a number of apps she’s able to use to hack into the ships systems and open doors that have encrypted locks. Kate uses many different devices and goes through many situations in her quest to be successful in her job.

Each level of this games brings about new situations all determined by the players decisions.

This is a good game for anyone who loves single shooter games.
